Memory is a feature in some AI tools that lets the AI remember specific facts about you from one conversation to the next.

Not every AI tool has this. Where it exists, it’s usually something you can view, edit, or switch off. This is different from a context window, which is about how much of a single ongoing conversation the AI can keep track of at once.
